Bridal: Sommer

Two weeks ago I was able to team up with Katie Kouture Makeup and Hair Artistry for super fun Bridal shoot.
I meet the model the day of the shoot and I couldn't have picked anyone better! She was, in one word, adorable. And TINY! While getting her hair and makeup done she referred to herself as something that fit her so perfectly, "a little China Doll". And for having 3 kids, I ENVY her! On top of all of this, her anniversary was just 2 days away! Is anyone else thinking anniversary present??

Absolutely stunning!

Is she gorgeous, or is she gorgeous?

Thanks you again, Katie Kouture, for the awesome styling!

xoxo!

Family: Etter

Last week I was able to spend a day with this bunch! Two cute kids and one gorgeous mom? Yes please!

On our way to the location we decided on, we had a quick change of heart. We ended up pulling over on the side of the road and shooting our entire session there. And I couldnt be happier! The style this family has is something else! And the rolling fields fit them so perfectly.

Side note to photographers: Beware of hills the day after your pilates instructor kicks your booty. LESSON LEARNED!

Personal: Complete with Classic Crying
 Photo with Santa

My sister in law called me a few weeks ago telling me that our neighbor city is going to have 'Santa in the Park' for families that want to go and take their own photos. Perfect right? I've never been to the park and figured it would be cute and *hopefully* no two mile long line to actually get to Santa like at the mall.

I was right. There was no line. But when they said Santa in the park, they meant Santa sitting on a bench in front of a playground with a basket of candy canes. Should I have trusted it? Im not quite sure yet. It felt a little like going into a windowless van with the words "Free Candy Inside" painted on the back.  Either way Zoe was not digging the man with the white beard. We snapped a few photos and quickly moved onto the play ground.

Merry Christmas!

 Senior: Dean

So this was my first time shooting a male senior and it was totally different, but I loved it! Dean was very laid back and easy to work with, and with having a photographer as a mom, he was totally used to having the camera around.

We braved the cold weather and the trains, here are just a few from our session. Enjoy!
