Modeling: El Paso Shoot Out

On Thursday I had the pleasure of meeting and shooting with about a dozen other great photographers from the El Paso area. I was able to shoot somewhere I've never been before and learn a lot from people whom have been in the business for much longer than myself. The models provided were easy going and great to work with, and did I mention gorgeous? I would like to say thank you to the EPPA, and also thanks to Khushroo Ghadiali for putting this together and allowing me to be apart of it!

Family: Kruitbosch

Over the weekend I had the pleasure to do a session with a good friend of mine and her adorable clan of four. I've known this family for a while now and being around them is nonstop laughs. The things her daughters say are completely unexpected and can make even the most serious person crack a smile. And then there is Mister Riott, who may I say, is quite the charmer. We spent the morning Downtown and when the El Paso sun started to beat down on us, we called it a day and wrapped it up with ice cream sundaes!

Peronsal: Day out with Daddy

Taking full advantage of the city I live in with this photo shoot! I could spend every Saturday afternoon wandering the streets of Downtown with my husband. It's picking my favorite photos of the day that was the hard part..

Personal: Splash Park 7.15.11

These two are the absolute loves of my life, my two biggest forms of motivation. I couldn't imagine where I would be without either one of them. My love for photography has spent way too much time on the back burner and I didn't realize this until my husband. I admit, having a baby made me look at things as more of a challenge, almost impossible. And it is more of a challenge, but what you set your mind to should be far from impossible! You cannot let yourself think of things as holding you back. Instead look at the challenges as pushes forward. I look at Zoe everyday and I want to be great, for her. I want her to know that I had aspirations and I went after them, and never stopped. Zoe is my drive, my husband is my support, and I am who I choose to be. When I do things, I want to give it my all. When I say things, I want to mean every word. And when I photograph, I want to be damn great.
